A university administrator from Ohio has been selected as the new vice chancellor
for enrollment management at the 奥门开彩开奖结果 - Fort Smith.
Julie L. Burdick, associate vice president for academic affairs at The University of Akron will assume her duties at 奥门开彩开奖结果 on June 1, according to Dr. Paul B. Beran, chancellor.
鈥淭he addition of Julie Burdick to the senior staff at 奥门开彩开奖结果 is an important hire for us,鈥� said Beran. 鈥淚 believe her credentials and experience will help us position the institution to further meet the needs of students throughout this region. She is bringing to us her proven success in the field of enrollment management, and she has the background and leadership abilities to develop for 奥门开彩开奖结果 a high-quality, evidence-based enrollment and retention program.鈥�
At 奥门开彩开奖结果 Burdick will have oversight for the offices of admissions, financial aid, career services, academic advising, international programs, testing and the registrar.
Burdick, who has been in her current role at Akron since August 2011, was previously at the University of Cincinnati for nine years as director of academic planning and assessment and also the director of enrollment management for the College of Engineering. Prior to that, Burdick worked as director of admissions for Chatfield College in St. Martin, Ohio.

Burdick has a bachelor鈥檚 degree with a double major in marketing and management from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a master鈥檚 degree in business administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
