°ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Mailbag: Welcome

Written By: Ian Silvester

Students, faculty, and staff –

Welcome and welcome back to °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û! As the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year begins, I want to introduce a new way to connect and engage with the campus: the °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Mailbag.

Bucking the age-old adage, curiosity most certainly did not kill the cat with the °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Mailbag. Through this series, I hope to connect with you, our ever-learning Lions, aiming to bring you the °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Mailbag twice a month with a topic of your (or our) choosing…more on that later.Mail carrier Numa

From °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û legends, upcoming events, holidays, or breaks to simply talking about what’s going on in the world and how it relates to °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û - - you can find it all here in the °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Mailbag.

So, what about topics of your choosing? I’m glad you asked! Every edition of the °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Mailbag will have a link to email us your questions to be answered, to the best of our ability, of course. We’re not all astrophysicists who can recite pi to the umpteenth decimal – but by golly, I will do my best to find that expert to help!

Send us your questions and things you want to know about to communications@uafs.edu. I can’t wait to share the °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Mailbag with each of you and bring you all things °ÂÃÅ¿ª²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û.

Until next time,

Ian
